Method

Steak

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Take the ribeye steak and season it with salt and black pepper on both sides. Allow it to sit at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes before cooking.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the ribeye steak. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust according to your preferred doneness. Remove from skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Eggs

  1. 3

    Prepare the Eggs

In a separate skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Crack the eggs into the skillet and cook to your preferred doneness—scrambled, fried sunny-side-up, or over-easy.

Home Fries

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and dice the potatoes into small cubes. Finely chop the onion and red bell pepper.

  2. 5

    Cook the Home Fries

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced potatoes, onion, and red bell pepper. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are golden brown and cooked through.

Toast and Jam

  1. 6

    Prepare the Toast

While the steak and home fries are cooking, toast the thick-cut bread until golden brown. Spread the jam on top of the toast once it’s done.
