Method

For the Biscuit Sandwich

  1. 1

    Make the Biscuits

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the milk until just combined. Do not overmix.

  2. 2

    Shape the Biscuits

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 30 seconds. Pat into a 1-inch thick round. Cut out biscuits using a round cutter. Place on a baking sheet.

  3. 3

    Bake the Biscuits

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Bake the biscuits for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.

  4. 4

    Cook the Sausage and Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chicken sausage links until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. In a separate pan, cook the smoked bacon until crispy. Transfer both to a paper towel-lined plate.

  5. 5

    Fry the Eggs

In the same skillet, crack the eggs and fry to your desired doneness (sunny-side up, over-easy, etc.), about 3-4 minutes.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Sandwiches

Slice the baked biscuits in half. On the bottom half, layer the sausage, fried egg, a slice of bacon, and a slice of white cheddar. Top with the other half of the biscuit.

For the 8595 Sauce

  1. 7

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, hot sauce, garlic powder, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth and creamy.

For the Sides

  1. 8

    Prepare Grits or Potatoes

For grits, cook according to package instructions. For breakfast potatoes, dice and sauté in a pan with oil until golden and tender, about 10-15 minutes.

  2. 9

    Serve with Fresh Fruit

Prepare the fresh fruit by washing and cutting as necessary. Serve alongside the biscuit sandwich.
