Preparation Instructions
- 1
Marinate the Tuna
In a bowl, combine diced tuna, red onion, scallions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let it marinate in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes.
- 2
Prepare the Wontons
While the tuna is marinating, prepare the wonton skins. If you want them crispy, you can either fry them in oil until golden brown or bake them in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 8-10 minutes.
- 3
Assemble the Wontons
Once the tuna is marinated and the wonton skins are ready, assemble the wontons by placing a spoonful of the marinated tuna mixture in the center of each wonton skin.
- 4
Top with Toppings
Add diced avocado on top of the tuna, then drizzle with kabayaki sauce and sriracha mayo. Sprinkle furikake, shredded nori, and bonito flakes over the top.
- 5
Serve
Serve the marinated tuna wontons immediately as an appetizer or a light meal.
