    Prepare the Pickled Carrots

    In a bowl, mix white vinegar, water, salt, and sugar until dissolved. Add the carrot ribbons and let them pickle for at least 30 minutes.

    Prepare the Chicken Wings

    Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Generously coat the wings with the 49er dry rub, ensuring they are evenly covered.

    Smoke the Chicken Wings

    Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Place the seasoned chicken wings on the smoker rack and smoke for about 2 to 2.5 hours or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).

    Serve

    Once the wings are smoked to perfection, remove them from the smoker. Serve hot with the pickled carrot ribbons on the side.
