Cauliflower Bites
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Prepare the Cauliflower
Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower and cut it into bite-sized florets.
- 2
Make the Batter
In a bowl, whisk together the chickpea flour, water, and salt until smooth.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Coat the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing excess to drip off.
- 5
Fry the Cauliflower
Carefully add the battered florets to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 6
Toss in Hot Sauce
In a large bowl, toss the fried cauliflower bites with the 49er hot sauce until evenly coated.
