Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients. Slice the tomato and wash the romaine lettuce.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Blacken the Salmon

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels, then season both sides with blackening seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat olive oil in the skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until blackened and cooked through.

  4. 4

    Toast the Bread

While the salmon is cooking, toast the whole grain bread slices until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the B.L.T.

Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread. On the bottom slice, layer lettuce, tomato slices, bacon, and the blackened salmon. Top with another slice of bread, mayo side down. Repeat for the second sandwich.

  6. 6

    Serve

Cut each sandwich in half and serve immediately.
