Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Salmon

Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat. Season sockeye salmon fillets with salt and black pepper. Place the salmon on the grill or in a baking dish.

  2. 2

    Cook the Salmon

Grill the salmon for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until it flakes easily with a fork. If using an oven, bake for about 12-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Salad

While the salmon is cooking, chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl. Add croutons, shaved Parmesan cheese, and Caesar dressing. Toss to combine.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Salad

Once the salmon is cooked, remove it from the grill or oven and let it cool slightly. Flake the salmon into large pieces and add it to the salad. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top.

  5. 5

    Serve

Toss everything gently to combine, then serve immediately with additional lemon wedges on the side.
