Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Steak

Remove the Tomahawk ribeye from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 1 hour before cooking. This allows for even cooking.

2

Season the Steak

Generously season both sides of the steak with kosher salt and black pepper. Press the seasoning into the meat to ensure it adheres.

3

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F to 500°F). If using a cast-iron skillet, heat it on the stove over high heat until very hot.

4

Sear the Steak

Drizzle olive oil on the steak. Place the steak on the grill or skillet. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side until a nice crust forms.

5

Add Flavorings

During the last minute of cooking, add the garlic cloves and rosemary to the skillet or grill. Use a spoon to baste the steak with the infused oil.

6

Check for Doneness

Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. For medium-rare, aim for 130°F to 135°F. Remove from heat when it reaches the desired doneness.

7

Rest the Steak

Let the steak rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute within the meat.

8

Serve

Slice the steak against the grain and serve with your choice of sides.
