Steam the Edamame
In a pot, bring about 2 inches of water to a boil. Place the edamame pods in a steamer basket and insert it into the pot. Cover and steam for about 5-7 minutes until the pods are bright green and tender.

Season the Edamame
Once cooked, remove the edamame from the steamer and transfer to a serving bowl. Sprinkle with salt to taste and toss gently to coat.

Serve
Serve the edamame pods warm, allowing guests to pop the beans out of the pods with their fingers.
