Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Glass

Take a cocktail glass and moisten the rim with a lime wedge. Dip the rim of the glass into a plate of Tajin seasoning to coat it evenly.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Strawberry Puree

In a blender, combine fresh strawberries (about 5-6 medium-sized) with a tablespoon of sugar and a splash of lemon juice. Blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve if you prefer a smoother puree.

Mixing the Drink

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add the Old Smokey Mango Habanero Whiskey, sweet & sour mix, and strawberry puree. Fill the shaker with ice cubes.

  2. 4

    Shake Well

Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

  3. 5

    Strain and Serve

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice. Ensure no ice is added to the glass.

Garnishing

  1. 6

    Garnish the Drink

Garnish with a fresh strawberry placed on the rim of the glass and a lime wedge on the side. Serve immediately.
