Fish Preparation

Method

Fish Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Haddock

In a bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Add the haddock fillets and coat evenly. Let marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Haddock

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Place the marinated haddock on the grill or in the skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat and set aside.

Taco Assembly

  1. 3

    Warm the Tortillas

In a dry skillet over medium heat, warm the corn tortillas for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable. Keep them warm in a clean kitchen towel.

  2. 4

    Assemble the Tacos

On each warm tortilla, place a few pieces of the grilled haddock. Top with shredded cabbage, a spoonful of pico de gallo, and a drizzle of smoked chile aioli.

  3. 5

    Serve

Serve the tacos immediately with lime wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
