Cheese Curds
Ranch Dipping Sauce
Method
Cheese Curds Preparation
- 1
- 2
Coat the Cheese Curds
Dip each cheese curd first into the flour mixture, ensuring it is well coated. Shake off any excess flour, then dip it into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, coat the curd in breadcrumbs, pressing lightly to adhere. Repeat for all cheese curds.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or pot, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer for accuracy.
- 4
Fry the Cheese Curds
Carefully add the breaded cheese curds to the hot oil, a few at a time. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown, turning occasionally for even cooking. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Ranch Dipping Sauce Preparation
- 5
Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and milk. Stir until smooth and fully combined.
- 6
Chill the Sauce
Cover the ranch dipping sauce and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
