Preparing Ahi Tuna

Slice the Tuna
Once rested, slice the tuna into bite-sized cubes and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Frying Wontons

Prepare Oil for Frying
In a deep skillet or fryer, heat vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry Wontons
Carefully drop the wonton wrappers in batches into the hot oil. Fry until they are golden brown and crispy, about 1-2 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Making Wasabi Aioli

Combine Ingredients
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise and wasabi paste until well blended. Adjust wasabi to taste.
Preparing Slaw

Mix Slaw Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, and sliced green onions. Pour in Asian vinaigrette and toss until the veggies are well coated.
Assembly

Assemble Ahi Bites
On each fried wonton, place a spoonful of slaw, followed by a few pieces of seared Ahi tuna. Drizzle with wasabi aioli and garnish with additional sesame seeds if desired.
