Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Turkey

Season the turkey breast with salt and black pepper. Grill over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Green Chile

Roast the green chile over an open flame, turning occasionally, until the skin is charred. Place in a paper bag for a few minutes to steam, then peel and slice.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

On a slice of sourdough bread, layer the sliced turkey, crispy bacon, roasted green chile, pepperjack cheese, and sliced tomato. Top with another slice of sourdough.

  5. 5

    Grill the Sandwich

Brush the outside of the sandwich with olive oil. Grill on medium heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

  6. 6

    Serve

Slice the sandwich in half and serve immediately.
