Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the baby back ribs under cold water and pat dry. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Make the Glaze

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is bubbling. Reduce heat and let simmer for about 10 minutes until it thickens slightly.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Brush a generous amount of the glaze over the ribs. Cover with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 hours.

  4. 4

    Glaze and Broil

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush more glaze over the ribs and place under the broiler for 5-7 minutes until caramelized and bubbly. Watch closely to prevent burning.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Slice the ribs and sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
