Chicken Sliders

Method

Preparing the Chicken Sliders

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, combine buttermilk and hot sauce. Add the chicken breasts and marinate for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Breading

In a shallow plate, mix flour, cayenne pepper, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Remove the chicken from the marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge in the flour mixture until evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Fry the Chicken

In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sliders

Place fried chicken on slider buns, top with blue cheese ranch dressing and coleslaw.

Making the Blue Cheese Ranch Dressing

  1. 6

    Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, blue cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 7

    Mix Well

Stir until smooth and creamy. Fold in chopped chives. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Preparing the Coleslaw

  1. 8

    Combine Cabbage and Carrot

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and grated carrot.

  2. 9

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 10

    Mix Coleslaw

Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrot mixture. Toss until well combined. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
