Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all the ingredients: tequila, lime juice, salt, triple sec, orange juice, grenadine, and blue curacao. Make sure to have shot glasses ready for serving.

Prepare the Salt Rim

Take a lime wedge and run it around the rim of each shot glass. Dip the rim into salt to coat it lightly.

Mix the Tequila Shot

In a shaker, combine 1 oz of tequila and 0.5 oz of lime juice. Shake well and strain into one of the prepared shot glasses.

Mix the Orange Shot

In the same shaker, combine 1 oz of triple sec and 0.5 oz of orange juice. Shake well and strain into a second shot glass.

Mix the Grenadine Layer

Slowly pour 1 oz of grenadine into the bottom of the third shot glass. This will settle at the bottom.

Mix the Blue Curacao Layer

Gently pour 1 oz of blue curacao over the back of a spoon into the third shot glass, creating a layered effect above the grenadine.

Serve the Shots

Serve the three shot glasses on a tray or in a row. Enjoy the visual appeal before taking the shots!
