Method
Brewing the Tea
- 1
Boil the Water
In a kettle, bring 2 cups of fresh, filtered water to a boil.
- 2
Steep the Tea
Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and let it cool for about 1-2 minutes to reach the ideal temperature for green tea (around 175°F to 185°F or 80°C to 85°C). Add 2 tsp of jasmine green tea leaves to a teapot or heat-resistant container.
- 3
Pour Water
Pour the hot water over the tea leaves in the teapot.
- 4
Steep
Let the tea steep for about 2-3 minutes, depending on how strong you prefer your tea. Do not steep for too long to avoid bitterness.
- 5
Strain the Tea
After steeping, strain the tea into cups to remove the leaves.
