Additional Ingredients

Method

Prepare Tea

  1. 1

    Steep the Green Tea

Boil 500 ml of water and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons of green tea leaves to the water and steep for 3-5 minutes. Strain the tea to remove the leaves.

  2. 2

    Sweeten the Tea

Stir in 2 tablespoons of honey or your choice of sweetener to the warm tea. Mix well until fully dissolved. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature or refrigerate to chill.

Cook Tapioca Pearls

  1. 3

    Prepare the Pearls

In a pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil. Add 100 grams of tapioca pearls and stir gently to prevent sticking. Cook for about 5-7 minutes or until the pearls become translucent and chewy.

  2. 4

    Rinse and Sweeten Pearls

Once cooked, remove from heat and drain the pearls. Rinse them under cold water to stop cooking. Optionally, you can mix the pearls with a little honey or sugar to add sweetness.

Assemble Bubble Tea

  1. 5

    Combine Ingredients

In a large glass, add a scoop of cooked tapioca pearls at the bottom. Pour the chilled green tea over the pearls.

  2. 6

    Add Milk and Ice

Add 100 ml of milk or milk alternative to the tea. Top with ice cubes as desired.

  3. 7

    Serve

Stir well to combine all ingredients. Serve immediately with a wide straw for easy sipping.
