Prepare the Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar until combined.

Mix Wet Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, red food coloring, and vanilla extract. Slowly melt the butter and add it to the wet mixture.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Gently fold the mixtures together until just combined; do not overmix.

Cook the Pancakes
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Pour about 1/2 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook until the other side is set, about 2-3 minutes more.

Serve the pancakes warm, topped with whipped cream, powdered sugar, and seasonal berries.
