Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mango Puree

Peel and chop the ripe mangoes. Blend them in a blender or food processor until smooth. Measure out 4 cups of mango puree.

  2. 2

    Make the Syrup

In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the mango puree, cooled sugar syrup, lime juice, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly blended.

  4. 4

    Freeze the Mixture

Pour the mixture into a shallow container and place it in the freezer. Stir every 30 minutes with a fork for about 3-4 hours, or until the sorbet is fully frozen and fluffy.

  5. 5

    Serve

Once the sorbet is fully frozen, scoop it into bowls or cones and serve immediately.
