Pre-bake the Crust
Place a piece of parchment paper over the crust and fill it with pie weights or dried beans. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes. Remove the weights and parchment and bake for an additional 5 minutes until lightly golden. Set aside to cool.

Fill the Pie Crust
Pour the custard filling into the pre-baked pie crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake the Custard Pie
Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake the pie for about 30-35 minutes, or until the custard is set and a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
