Pulled Pork Preparation

Prepare the Pork
Rub the pork shoulder with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place in a slow cooker.

Cook the Pork
Cook on low for 8 hours or until the pork is tender and easily pulls apart.

Shred the Pork
Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Mix with BBQ sauce.

Combine Ingredients
In a saucepan, combine ketchup, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, smoked paprika, and salt.

Cook the Sauce
Simmer over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce thickens.
Fried Pickles and Tumbleweed Onions Preparation

Fry the Pickles
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Dip pickles in the batter and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Fry the Onions
Dip the sliced onions in the same batter and fry until crispy and golden, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
Assembling the Burger

Grill the Beef Patties
Form the ground beef into 4 equal patties and season with salt and pepper. Grill over medium heat until cooked to your liking, about 4-5 minutes per side.

Melt the Cheese
Top each cooked beef patty with a slice of Havarti cheese and cover the grill for 1-2 minutes until melted.
