Drain and Dry Pickles
Drain the sliced dill pickles from their brine and lay them out on paper towels. Pat them dry to remove excess moisture.

Heat Oil
In a large, heavy-bottomed pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry Pickles
Carefully add the coated pickle slices to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 2-3 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Drain and Cool
Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried pickles from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Let them cool slightly before serving.

Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, buttermilk, dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

Refrigerate
Cover the ranch dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

Serve the fried pickles hot with the chilled ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
