Method

Fish Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add the fish fillets and coat them evenly. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Fish

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the fish from the marinade and grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Cabbage Slaw Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Slaw

In a large bowl, combine the sliced cabbage, grated carrot, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Toss well to combine and set aside for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Salsa Preparation

  1. 4

    Make the Salsa

In a bowl, mix together the diced tomatoes, red onion, minced jalapeño, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Stir until well combined and set aside.

Tortilla Assembly

  1. 5

    Warm the Tortillas

Heat the corn tortillas on a pan over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until warm and pliable.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Tacos

To assemble, place a grilled fish fillet on each tortilla, top with a generous amount of cabbage slaw and salsa. Serve immediately with lime wedges on the side.
