For the Beef Patty

For the Burger Assembly

Method

Preparing the Beef Patty

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until combined.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, ensuring they are slightly larger than the buns as they will shrink while cooking.

Cooking the Patty

  1. 3

    Preheat Grill or Pan

Heat a grill or non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the hot grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for another 4-5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 6

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half.

  2. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf followed by the cooked beef patty with melted cheese. Add slices of tomato on top.

  3. 8

    Add Condiments

Spread ketchup and mustard on the top half of the bun to taste, then place it on top of the assembled burger.
