Preparing the Salad

Wash and Chop Lettuce
Rinse the romaine lettuce under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat dry with a kitchen towel or use a salad spinner. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place in a large salad bowl.

Add Cheese and Croutons
Grate the parmesan cheese and sprinkle it over the chopped romaine. Add the croutons on top of the lettuce and cheese.
Making the Dressing

Prepare the Dressing Ingredients
Peel and mince the garlic clove. Rinse the anchovy fillets and chop them finely.

Mix the Dressing
In a small bowl, whisk together the minced garlic, chopped anchovy fillets, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while whisking until the dressing is well combined and emulsified.

Season the Dressing
Add salt and black pepper to the dressing according to your taste. Mix well.
Combining and Serving

Combine Salad and Dressing
Pour the prepared Caesar dressing over the salad. Toss gently to ensure all the ingredients are coated evenly.

Serve the Caesar salad immediately, garnishing with extra parmesan cheese if desired.
