Method

Cooking the Wings

  1. 1

    Prepare the Batter

In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Coat the chicken wings in the batter.

  2. 2

    Fry the Wings

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the battered wings for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

    Add Sauce

Toss the fried wings in your choice of sauce or rub until evenly coated.

Cooking the Fries

  1. 4

    Prepare Fries

Bake or fry the frozen French fries according to package instructions. Once cooked, sprinkle with salt and garlic powder.

Making the Coleslaw

  1. 5

    Mix the Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots. In a separate bowl, whisk together miso paste, grated ginger, rice vinegar, sugar, sesame oil, and salt. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss well.
