Brewing Instructions

Mashing
Heat 15 liters of water to 68°C (155°F) and add the barley and crystal malt. Stir well and maintain the temperature for 60 minutes.

Sparging
After mashing, sparge the grains with hot water to collect wort in the brew kettle.

Boiling
Bring the wort to a rolling boil. Add bittering hops and boil for 90 minutes. Add flavor hops with 15 minutes remaining and aroma hops in the last 5 minutes.

Cooling
Cool the wort quickly to around 20°C (68°F) using a wort chiller.

Fermentation
Transfer cooled wort to a fermentation vessel and pitch the yeast. Seal and ferment at 20-22°C (68-72°F) for about 1-2 weeks.

Bottling
Once fermentation is complete, bottle the beer with priming sugar and let it carbonate for 1-2 weeks.
