Cooking Instructions
- 1
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
- 3
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce is thickened.
- 4
Combine
Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly. Slice the cooked chicken and place it on top of the pasta.
- 5
Garnish and Serve
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve immediately.
