Buffalo Cauliflower
Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Cauliflower
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets and set aside.
- 2
Make the Batter
In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Gradually add water to the dry ingredients and mix until a smooth batter forms.
- 3
Batter the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is well coated. Shake off any excess batter.
- 4
Fry the Cauliflower
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the batter-coated cauliflower florets in batches until they are golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Coat with Buffalo Sauce
In a large bowl, toss the fried cauliflower florets with buffalo sauce until they are evenly coated.
- 6
Serve
Serve the buffalo cauliflower hot with a side of ranch dressing for dipping.
