Brewing Instructions

Mashing
Heat 5 gallons of water to 165°F (74°C) and add the Pale Malt and Crystal Malt. Maintain the temperature for 60 minutes.

Lautering
After mashing, drain the wort into a kettle and rinse the grains with hot water.

Boiling
Bring the wort to a boil and add 1 oz of Cascade hops. Boil for 60 minutes, adding the remaining hops at the 15-minute and 5-minute mark.

Cooling and Fermentation
Cool the wort quickly to 70°F (21°C) using a wort chiller. Transfer to a fermenter and pitch the yeast. Ferment for 1-2 weeks.

Bottling
After fermentation, dissolve the priming sugar in a small amount of water and mix it into the beer. Bottle the beer and let it carbonate for 1-2 weeks.
