Garlic Butter

Method

Preparing the Steak

1

Seasoning the Steak

Take the ribeye steaks and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and black pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to allow the seasoning to penetrate.

2

Preheating the Pan

Place a cast-iron skillet or heavy pan on high heat and allow it to preheat for about 5 minutes until it's very hot.

Cooking the Steak

3

Searing the Steak

Once the pan is hot, add the seasoned ribeye steaks to the skillet. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on one side without moving them to develop a nice crust.

4

Flipping the Steak

After 4-5 minutes, flip the steaks using tongs and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare. Adjust the time according to your desired doneness.

Making Garlic Butter

5

Preparing Garlic Butter

While the steaks are cooking, prepare the garlic butter. In a small bowl, soften the stick of unsalted butter at room temperature. Mince the garlic cloves and chop the fresh parsley.

6

Mixing Ingredients

Add the minced garlic, chopped parsley, and lemon juice to the softened butter. Mix well until combined.

Finishing Touches

7

Adding Garlic Butter

Once the steaks are cooked to your desired doneness, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes. Top each steak with a generous dollop of garlic butter while they rest.

8

Serving

Serve the ribeye steaks immediately, allowing the garlic butter to melt over the top. Enjoy with your choice of sides.
