Method

Preparing the Salmon

1

Marinate the Salmon

In a bowl, mix 4 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Place the salmon fillets in the bowl and coat them well with the marinade. Allow them to marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

2

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 375-400°F (190-200°C).

3

Grill the Salmon

Once the grill is hot, place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 5-6 minutes per side or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.

Preparing the Asparagus

4

Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the tough ends off the asparagus spears and rinse them under cold water.

5

Season the Asparagus

In a bowl, toss the asparagus with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper until well coated.

6

Grill the Asparagus

Place the seasoned asparagus on the grill next to the salmon. Grill for about 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are tender and have nice grill marks.
