Crust Preparation
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
Mix Crust Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
Form Crust
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch (23 cm) springform pan to form an even layer.
Bake Crust
Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, then remove and let cool while preparing the filling.
Filling Preparation
Beat Cream Cheese
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy.
Add Sugar and Sour Cream
Gradually add 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of sour cream to the cream cheese, mixing until well combined.
Incorporate Vanilla
Add the vanilla extract and mix until fully incorporated.
Mix in Flour
Finally, add the all-purpose flour and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Pour Filling into Crust
Pour the cream cheese filling over the cooled graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly.
Bake Cheesecake
Bake the cheesecake in the oven at 325°F (160°C) for about 60-70 minutes, or until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
Cool and Chill
Turn off the oven, crack the oven door, and let the cheesecake cool gradually for 1 hour. Then refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
