Preparation Steps
Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the Romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold running water to remove any dirt or grit. Shake off excess water and pat dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towels. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.
Add Parmesan Cheese
Grate the Parmesan cheese using a box grater or a food processor. Sprinkle the grated cheese evenly over the chopped Romaine lettuce in the salad bowl.
Incorporate Croutons
Add the croutons to the salad bowl, distributing them evenly across the lettuce and cheese to ensure every bite has a bit of crunch.
Drizzle Caesar Dressing
Pour the Caesar dressing over the salad ingredients. Start with a smaller amount and add more to taste as needed.
Toss the Salad
Using salad tongs or two large spoons, gently toss the salad ingredients together to ensure the dressing coats the lettuce, cheese, and croutons evenly.
Serve
Once the salad is well mixed, serve immediately in individual bowls or plates. Optionally, garnish with extra Parmesan cheese or freshly cracked black pepper.
