Noodles and Protein

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Cook the Soba Noodles

Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the soba noodles and cook according to package instructions, usually about 4-5 minutes. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Prep the Protein

Choose your protein: slice the chicken, pork, or beef into thin strips. If using shrimp, ensure they are cleaned and deveined.

  3. 3

    Cook the Protein

In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat. Add the protein of your choice and cook until fully cooked through, about 5-7 minutes for chicken, pork, or beef, and 3-4 minutes for shrimp. Remove from heat.

  4. 4

    Combine and Serve

In the same skillet, add the cooked soba noodles to the protein. Toss everything together with soy sauce and any additional seasonings to taste. Serve hot.
