Meat

Shrimp (optional)

Noodles (optional)

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Filet Mignon

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper. Add the filet mignon and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Cook the Filet Mignon

Heat a hibachi grill or a cast-iron skillet over high heat. Remove the filet mignon from the marinade and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  2. 3

    Prepare Hibachi Vegetables

On the same grill, add a bit of oil and toss in the sliced zucchini, mushrooms, carrots, and broccoli. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until tender.

  3. 4

    Make Hibachi Rice

In a pan, heat a bit of oil and add cooked rice. Stir in soy sauce, chopped green onions, and the beaten egg. Stir-fry until heated through and egg is cooked.

  4. 5

    Cook Shrimp and Noodles (optional)

If adding shrimp, cook them on the grill for about 2-3 minutes until pink. Serve with cooked noodles if desired.
