Hibachi Lobster Tail Ingredients

Method

Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Lobster

Preheat the grill or hibachi to medium-high heat. Using kitchen scissors, carefully cut the top of the lobster shells lengthwise to expose the meat. Remove any excess shell and place the lobster tails on a tray.

  2. 2

    Make the Butter Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in soy sauce, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Remove from heat.

  3. 3

    Grill the Lobster

Brush the lobster tails with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Place them on the grill, meat side down. Grill for about 5-6 minutes, then flip and baste with the butter sauce. Grill for an additional 5-6 minutes until the lobster is cooked through and opaque.

  4. 4

Cook the Hibachi Rice and Vegetables

In a separate skillet or hibachi, heat some olive oil and sauté the hibachi vegetables until tender. Prepare the hibachi rice according to package instructions, adding a splash of soy sauce for flavor.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Shrimp and Noodles

In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook until pink. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, then toss them with the shrimp and a bit of the butter sauce.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the grilled lobster tails alongside the hibachi rice, sautéed vegetables, and shrimp with noodles. Drizzle with remaining butter sauce and serve immediately.
