Fried Ice Cream Ingredients

Method

Fried Ice Cream Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare Ice Cream Balls

Scoop out the vanilla ice cream and form it into 4 equal balls. Place them on a plate and freeze for at least 2 hours until firm.

  2. 2

    Prepare Coating

Crush the cornflakes into smaller pieces and transfer them to a bowl. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, eggs, milk, and ground cinnamon to create a batter.

  3. 3

    Coat Ice Cream Balls

Remove the ice cream balls from the freezer. Dip each ball first into the batter, allowing any excess to drip off, then roll it in the crushed cornflakes to coat evenly. Return the coated balls to the freezer for another 30 minutes.

  4. 4

    Fry the Ice Cream

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully drop the ice cream balls into the oil, frying for about 30 seconds until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve immediately with a drizzle of chocolate sauce, a dollop of whipped cream, and a cherry on top.
