Directions
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika. This will be your marinade for the fish.
- 2
Marinate the Fish
Place the wild striped bass fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the fish. Ensure that the fillets are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
- 3
Preheat the Broiler
While the fish is marinating, preheat your broiler to high. Make sure the oven rack is positioned about 6 inches from the heating element.
- 4
Broil the Fish
Once marinated, remove the bass fillets from the refrigerator. Place them on a broiler-safe pan lined with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Broil for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has a nice golden crust.
- 5
Prepare the Topping
While the fish is broiling, prepare the spicy relish and sliced pepperoncini. In a small bowl, mix together the spicy relish and pepperoncini to create a zesty topping for the fish.
- 6
Serve
Once the fish is cooked, remove it from the oven. Serve the broiled wild striped bass hot, topped with the spicy relish and pepperoncini, and garnished with fresh chopped parsley.
