Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Rest the Steak

Remove the Boston strip steak from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat and Season

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Cook the steak on the grill or skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.

  4. 4

    Add Miso Butter

In a small bowl, mix the miso and softened butter together until well combined. Once the steak is done, top it with the miso butter and let it rest for 5 minutes.

Garlic Fries Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare Potatoes

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Cut the Russet potatoes into thin strips to make fries.

  2. 6

    Toss with Oil and Garlic

In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, minced garlic, and salt until evenly coated.

  3. 7

    Bake the Fries

Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

  4. 8

    Finish and Serve

Once done, remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
