Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to form fries.

  2. 2

    Soak the Fries

Place the cut fries in a bowl of cold water and soak for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Drain the soaked fries and pat them dry. Fry the potatoes in batches for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  2. 4

    Season the Fries

Remove the fries from the oil and drain on paper towels. While they are still hot, sprinkle with salt and toss to coat.

Finishing Touches

  1. 5

    Add Toppings

Drizzle the truffle oil over the hot fries, then sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley on top. Toss gently to combine.

  2. 6

    Serve

Serve the truffle fries immediately while hot and crispy.
