Waffle Fries
Method
Chicken Tenders Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Breading Station
Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one for flour, one for beaten eggs mixed with milk, and one for bread crumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- 2
Bread the Chicken
Coat each chicken tenderloin lightly in flour, then dip into the egg mixture, allowing excess to drip off, and finally coat evenly with the bread crumb mixture. Place on a plate and repeat for all tenderloins.
Frying Chicken Tenders
- 3
Heat Oil
In a large, deep skillet or frying pan, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C). You can test the oil by dropping a small piece of bread into it; it should sizzle immediately.
- 4
Fry the Chicken
Carefully place the breaded chicken tenderloins into the hot oil, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Waffle Fries Preparation
- 5
Cook the Waffle Fries
Prepare the frozen waffle fries according to package instructions, either by baking or frying. Season with salt after cooking.
