Method
Burger Preparation
- 1
Cook the Bacon
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels.
- 2
Form the Patties
In a bowl, divide the ground beef into two equal portions and shape them into patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up while cooking.
- 3
Cook the Patties
In the same skillet used for the bacon, increase the heat to medium-high. Add the beef patties and cook for about 4 minutes on one side. Flip the patties, add two slices of American cheese on each patty, and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the meat is cooked to your liking.
- 4
Assemble the Burgers
Spread 2 tablespoons of Thousand Island dressing on the bottom half of each brioche bun. Place a cheese-covered beef patty on each bun, followed by 4 slices of crispy bacon. Top with the other half of the bun.
Waffle Fries Preparation
- 5
Prepare the Oil
In a deep fryer or a large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).
- 6
Fry the Waffle Fries
Add the frozen waffle fries to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 3-5 minutes per batch.
- 7
Season the Fries
Remove the fries from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Sprinkle immediately with salt while they are still hot.
