Cheeseburger

Method

Cheeseburger

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until well combined, then divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip them over.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

After flipping, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, split the burger buns and toast them on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burgers

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, onion slices, and pickles. Top with ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise as desired. Finish with the top half of the bun.

Waffle Fries

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Using a waffle cutter or knife, cut the potatoes into waffle shapes.

  2. 7

    Heat the Oil

In a deep pot or fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Make sure there is enough oil to fully submerge the fries.

  3. 8

    Fry the Waffle Fries

Carefully place the cut waffle fries into the hot oil in batches. Fry for 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  4. 9

    Season the Fries

Remove the fries from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. While still hot, sprinkle with salt, paprika, and garlic powder.

  5. 10

    Serve

Serve the waffle fries alongside the cheeseburgers for a delicious meal.
