Ribeye Steak

Garlic Butter

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

Method

Ribeye Steak

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribeye

Take the 12 oz ribeye steak and rub it with olive oil on both sides. Generously coat the steak with Cajun seasoning.

  2. 2

    Cook the Ribeye

Preheat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned ribeye steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.

Garlic Butter

  1. 3

    Make Garlic Butter

While the steak is cooking, melt the 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add minced garlic (from 3 cloves) and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in chopped fresh parsley and remove from heat.

Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  1. 4

    Prepare Potatoes

Peel and chop 2 large potatoes into chunks. Place in a pot, cover with water, and add 4 cloves of garlic. Bring to a boil and cook until potatoes are tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 5

    Mash Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and garlic, then return to the pot. Add 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 cup of milk. Mash until smooth and creamy. Season with salt to taste.

Broccoli

  1. 6

    Cook Broccoli

In a separate pot, bring water to a boil. Add 2 cups of broccoli florets and cook for about 3-4 minutes until vibrant green and tender. Drain and toss with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste.
