Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. If desired, add paprika and chili flakes for extra flavor. Mix well to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Fish

Place the Nile catfish fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure that the fillets are thoroughly coated. Cover with plastic wrap and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 375°F or 190°C).

  2. 4

    Grill the Fish

Remove the catfish from the marinade and place them on the preheated grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  3. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the fillets from the grill and garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately with your choice of sides.
