Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Linguine

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Making Crawfish Sauce

  1. 2

    Sauté Aromatics

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped shallots, sautéing until fragrant and translucent, about 2-3 minutes.

  2. 3

    Add Crawfish Tails

Stir in the cooked crawfish tails and cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  3. 4

    Create Creamy Sauce

Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with Cajun seasoning, black pepper, and chopped parsley.

  4. 5

    Combine Pasta

Add the drained linguine to the crawfish sauce, tossing well to coat the pasta evenly. Allow to heat through for about 2 minutes.

Cooking Blackened Shrimp

  1. 6

    Prepare Shrimp

In a bowl, toss the jumbo shrimp with olive oil and blackening seasoning until evenly coated.

  2. 7

    Cook Shrimp

Heat a skillet over high heat and add the seasoned shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until shrimp are opaque and slightly charred. Remove from heat.

Serving

  1. 8

    Plate the Dish

Divide the creamy crawfish linguine into serving bowls and top each with blackened shrimp. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
