Method

Grilled Cheese Sandwich

  1. 1

    Prep the bread

Take two slices of bread and spread butter evenly on one side of each slice.

  2. 2

    Assemble the sandwich

Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, on a clean surface. Add a slice of cheddar cheese on top, then place the second slice of bread on top, buttered side facing out.

  3. 3

    Grill the sandwich

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, carefully place the sandwich in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.

  4. 4

    Flip the sandwich

Gently flip the sandwich using a spatula and cook the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes until golden brown and the cheese is melted.

  5. 5

    Slice and serve

Remove the grilled cheese from the skillet, slice it in half, and place it on a plate.

Waffle Fries

  1. 6

    Preheat the oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) according to the package instructions for the waffle fries.

  2. 7

    Prepare the fries

Spread the frozen waffle fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.

  3. 8

    Bake the fries

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and crispy.

  4. 9

    Serve the fries

Once cooked, remove the waffle fries from the oven and serve them hot alongside the grilled cheese.
